One documented chain from the kitchen to the biorefinery

Every stage is recorded so that the sustainability declaration issued for each container can be traced back to its points of origin under ISCC EU mass balance.

  1. 1Kitchen

    Restaurants, hotels and industrial kitchens in the UAE generate used cooking oil of vegetable origin.

  2. 2Collection

    We source UCO from food-service businesses across the UAE; each intake is recorded by origin and quantity.

  3. 3Al Quoz yard

    Consolidation at Unit OP26 — underground tank of approx. 30,000 litres and HDPE tanks.

  4. 4Quality control

    Settling, filtering and checks against the agreed specification before loading.

  5. 5Flexitank

    Loaded into a flexitank in a 20′ container — approx. 20–22 t per container.

  6. 6Jebel Ali

    Export from Jebel Ali port with the full document pack.

  7. 7Rotterdam

    Delivered CIF, mainly to Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

  8. 8Biofuel plant

    Processed into biodiesel or HVO as RED III Annex IX Part B feedstock.
